British Animation Awards 2012 nominations

Hello, happy new year!
I've been sucked into yet more work- I've just done 3 more tempo animatics in an epic 3 weeks over christmas with another one to go, but i just had to say:
"bike" is nominated for the Best 2d Commercial British Animation Award!
I heard it was on the shortlist last week, but yesterday got a call saying it's made it through to the final 3.

It will also be screened in the Public Choice awards around the country, and I think it may be nominated in the "best script" category also.

I'm unbelievably humbled and amazed.

Tempo Bike

All year I've been secretly working on directing my first commercial, and I'm finally allowed to talk about it as it's aired!
It's for Tempo tissues - a mix of stop motion tissues and hand inked animation and has been an amazing, fun, emotional, tiring process.

The little film I pitched for the languages through lenses competition (a student film competition funded by the European Commission in which students receive a €5000 grant to produce a film promoting multilingualism) has been selected and will be screened at the Prix Europa festival in Berlin in October 2009! It will be a busy but fun summer after I graduate...
